Artist Allie Suter

“Every artwork I create is a direct manifestation of my innermost spirit, intended to resonate deeply with yours”

Born in 1970 on the grounds of Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, Alli Suter was destined for a life enriched with diverse cultural experiences and profound creativity. As the daughter of a respected F-15 fighter pilot, Suter's early life was a tapestry of global adventures. From the age of eight her father was stationed in Hawaii then Japan and onto Germany.  Each chapter enriching her perspective and fueling her artistic passion, making her the friendly extrovert with a flexibility and joy for life that is contagious.

Influenced and guided by her mother’s memorable career as an interior designer, Alli's innate creativity flourished. This strong mentorship honed not only her artistic skills but also developed invaluable traits such as adaptability, empathy, and an astute analytical acumen. Suter's academic pursuits led her to Texas Woman's University which she attended in ’90 and ’91. In 1994 Suter earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors at Arizona State University, a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence.

Suter embodies the fusion of entrepreneurial acumen and creative vision. With the innovative and action-oriented mindset of a CEO and the soul of a true artist, she creates mesmerizing works characterized by a romantic, yet intriguing aesthetic. Her distinctive style, infused with the ethereal essence of love and mystery, transcends cultural boundaries, creating exquisite acrylic pieces on raw linen and raw canvases.

Working with raw linen and raw canvas is one of Suter’s passions and signatures. She says herself: “When luxury is your starting point, paint flows like magic”.

Renowned for her unparalleled ability to harmonize hues and evoke profound emotions, every stroke of her brush is telling a narrative of beauty, passion, and transcendence, making Suter an indispensable face in the realm of contemporary art.

Drawing inspiration from the romantic allure of French acrylics and oils, Suter’s painting style exudes femininity and grace. Her recent works, including the ethereal series drawn from mystical realms, enchanted forests to striking minimalism on pristine raw cotton and linen canvases, infusing her abstract artworks with figurative elements.

Suter’s career is marked by notable solo exhibitions such as "In Flight" at Ekam in Newport Beach, July 2021  and "Floral Romance" at RGallery in Boulder, September 2022. She has also made significant contributions to public and private collections, including show-stopping murals at venues like The Cove, Halston Group, Wellspring and Sugar Beach along the coastline in Newport Beach California in 2021.

A unique and compassionate facet of her artistic practice involves working with cremains. Suter creates beautiful, personalized artworks, which serve as a profound release for relatives and friends to work through grief and find solace. This sensitive approach to art connects with the deepest human experiences, offering a therapeutic dimension to her creations.

On a personal note, Suter is deeply connected to nature and has a particular fondness for trees. She is deliberate and thoughtful about the world that surrounds us, humanity and self-care. Her artwork is a reflection of her personality—playful, natural, genuine, and endlessly curious. Through her creations, she invites viewers into a world where each piece serves not just as something beautiful but as an infusion of profound and personal meaning, warmth and magical playfulness in their lives.
